I was shopping around for the Acura MDX after seeing one at the BMW dealership. I went to this dealership here looking for one to purchase I came across the A-spec model and it was a tad bit more than what I wanted to spend out the door pricing. I let the sales guy know that I had cash to purchase the car I didn't need financing at all but was wanting him to work with me on the purchase price. I got the no price haggle spill and I don't believe I was even shown any other cars that day that I could purchase for the price range I wanted.
After 2 mos. of shopping around I seen a car online that fit the budget that I wanted to spend so I decided to go back to see if this one in particular would be a go. I met the sales guy Eric and checked the car out it was around 5-6pm at this time it gets dark out early. He suggested he bring the car around to the service area where there was more light to check the car out. The car was a used one however it was in great condition and it was a certified used vehicle I was very please with all the details included. I told Eric I would just come back the next day to finish up the purchase as the car needed a full detailing. I arrived the next day at the same time as I was coming after work again with it getting dark out early you really can't see inside the car that great. I asked Eric before coming inside if the detail had happened and he said it was all done and ready. I examined the car before we sealed the deal with the purchase and everything appeared to be ok.
The next day in the daytime I fully examined the inside of the car and it was a complete mess trashed and not even clean thoroughly at all. I was very upset that I was sold a vehicle and was then lied to about the detailing also upon driving home the windshield wiper fluid indication came on and I wasn't even a full tank of gas with the purchase. I called over to the sales guy to voice my concerns and that I was very unsatisfied with the way my overall experience went. He mentioned that he would get it taken care of and offered to send a loaner car over to my workplace to swap out the car. That never happened I had to drive over to the dealer once again in 5:00 traffic and drop the car off myself. The car was taken in and the detail was done the detailer was AMAZING he took the car from a 0 to a 10 I was very pleased with his customer service as I was able to meet him. He actually asked me to inspect the car while he was there to address any concerns I seen within the detail job he did. I started the car and it was about to leave and I noticed I still was not given a full tank of gas again after trusting Eric's word that everything was taken care of. I was able to get a fill up from the manager writing a gas voucher. However once I hit the road to go home my windshield wiper indication came on that my fluid was low. I reached back out to the sales guy Eric and got a measly apology, but nothing to rectify the terrible experience I encountered.
A few days later I received a phone call to see how my experience went with my purchase. I let the lady know everything I typed above and she stated she would give the information over to the manager and he would give me a call. No such thing has happened. My honest review Leith Acura Cary shame on you and do better!
Today, I visited a dealership with the hope of learning more about Acura and potentially making a purchase. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. The sales team appeared disinterested in showing me any cars, even after discussing my budget. I had to take the initiative to request a test drive. It felt as if my presence was an inconvenience to them. The overall atmosphere in the showroom was uncomfortable, to say the least. On a positive note, the receptionist was kind enough to share some valuable details about the cars, explaining the differences in models and packages. If I decide to pursue Acura further, I'll be exploring other dealerships in search of a more welcoming experience. The funniest part was after discussing my budget sales representative mentioned he had to go grab something from his office but never returned after waiting in the showroom. 😂😂
Best car buying experience of my life. Car was ready when I arrived. I received a full hands on education on features while paperwork was drawn up. I was out the door in around 2 hrs and had the rest of the day to enjoy my new car!
What a wonderful experience at Leith Acura with Garry as our supervisor. He was so professional and made the process of purchasing a car so simple and understandable. If we had any questions he always responded politely. He never left us just sitting around, not knowing what was going on. Absolutely incredible to meet all the different people at this location. Garry will definitely take care of you with whatever your needs or interests are in a car purchase!

I took our 2024 Acura MDX Type-S in for an early oil change (I know, I know.....I'm old school!) Kayleah (probably butchered her name and apologize but I remember how to pronounce it!) was an amazing service advisor. She totally gets it and provided an outstanding customer service experience from beginning to end and even took the time to show me a few tips and tricks about the MDX that I had no idea about.
